They are getting ready to put a new pipeline through the county... there are thousands of segments of pipe in these piles... I made my husband go down, turn around in the middle of the highway and go back for this photo... It was worth it - This is one of my favorites!(click on it to see it full sized)

Daryl - I was pretty excited when I took it, it came out even better than I thought it would!
Your husband must be very nice. I would never turn the car for a photo, but that is because I expect other odd motives to pop up all around.
But your photo shows creativity by you
Well, our highway isn't a freeway - it's a two lane state highway... and we were only going grocery shopping, so I don't think he minded... lol
Besides, he is always encouraging my photography!
Thank you!

Ordinary objects in amazing shots. Very good catch.
Lovely shot. I remember pipelines and pipes in the 1940s. A long time ago. Those were put in our rinky dinky town by a crew of guys from Texas.
Abraham Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio
Thanks!
Lots of pipelines between then and now... :)
These are pretty cool. I've been watching on the news lately about the progress being made there.
Blessings to you and all the families there.
There's an award for you over at my place .. come and get it
