Camera Critters

The wild turkeys are plentiful this year... Here are two of the pictures I've take of them, in different parts of the county... click on them to see them a little better!

Great captures! I've seen a few turkeys, but I haven't been able to get any photos of them. You did great here!

What a great shot! We have them around here, but we rarely see them. I did see a pheasant on the road a few weeks back. That was pretty weird too.

I love seeing all the critters that aren't on my island. So for me this is a great image.

Carole - we have TONS of pheasants... that's one reason we have so many out of state hunters coming here during the season! Turkeys are a little more rare, and quail we don't see much.. they're out there, and you can hear them, but we rarely see them...

John - Babooshka - Thanks!

Lilli & Nevada - they are in very good shape this year, and there are plenty of them!

We have wild turkey at the deer lease. We hear way more than we see. My BIL shot a nice one several years back. I wish I had a picture of my DH & I sitting on the ground, camo clothes and net camo hoods on, holding our shot guns waiting for those elusive birds. It would be something I could look back on and laugh a big belly laugh!
Great shots Anita. I applaud you for this capture!
p.s. looks like a jake or a gobbler on top. and, hens on the bottom shot right?
