My dad used to do this kind of painting years ago... he told me stories about how they'd be painting a grain elevator, 120 ft. high, and drop a rope over the side, put on gloves and jump off, grabbing the rope before the got to the bottom... lol
Hello again Anita What a great picture for Sky Watch.. I think it must be a hard job painting way up there... well capturedand thanks for showing.. I am going to listen to you music now while I make myself a pot of tea and some buttered toast.. it's just turned 9.o clock in the morning here. Have a great weekend Tom
Thanks, Tom! I'm getting ready to go deliver newspapers, and later this morning (between 10 am and noon our time) I'm being interviewed on CNN! Our town's tornado anniversary is this Sunday, and the media has been camping out here all week! My other blog, Prairie Dreams has lots of details, and videos if you're interested!

It's a hard job, but someone has to do it!
You're right...
That water tower would be an eyesore if they didn't have someone who would go up and paint it! :)
