Topiary courtesy of the strong south winds of Kansas... "Kansas" is said to mean "People of the south wind", although the original meaning of the word has been lost... makes perfect sense to me, a LOT of trees in Kansas lean to the north...

I can see what you mean. We have many trees bending away from the east wid and others, a little younger, from the sou-westerlies. There seems to be some decadal change in wind speed and direction involved.
