Hello Anita...
The is a great capture and very well framed. The brickwork really adds to it.

Anita said...

Thank you!

The building is painted brick red, but the yellow from the street lights makes it orange...

This is just fabulous, Anita! The colors and the framing........so artistic.

Very good! Great reflection!

Thanks! The glass in these windows is almost pure black... day or night... that makes it better, I think...

The red brown of the door, the wonderful blue of the sky and the black of the shadows; the framing; the whole photo is unique and special. http://meeyauw-pad.blogspot.com/2008/02/sky-watch-friday-snow-on-barton.html

Awesome, awesome picture 'nita....You really need to frame this one...Do you ever do copies for others, for a charge? that is way too cool...I love it! Hope your day is going well for you...I just pray that you are accepted into the program, and I've been thinking so much about it...I know it would mean the world to you and to be honest, you've been so patient, so in my mind, you are surely deserving of it....Bless you always...Bonnie B.

Anita said...

Thank you so much!
I don't know if it's patience or resignation... I just don't hope for much, so there is no expectation... THIS time, however, I have my heart set on it, which is always a BAD thing...
I just so want to qualify for this program, not only to get our new house, but to be able to help others build theirs, and drive by their houses and say "Hey! I put up drywall in that house... or, I helped paint that house!" Don't you think that is a fabulous way to build community spirit??

Bonnie B. said...

I sure do...to have a part of that...What more could you ask for? Developing your new community, which you had a big part of....Wow! yes, yes, yes...I pray you can do just that...Love, Bonnie B.

I'm honored for the compliment... I was surprised by the reaction to this photo, I must say... Makes me think maybe I should keep taking pictures... :)

Thanks!

I've been having horrendous computer problems, and didn't get to post the picture I had all ready for the Feb. 8 Sky Watch Friday, so now I'll have to wait another week! lol
