The Sky Watch Pictures are in the slide show underneath...

Almost closing time, at a local fireworks stand...

I suppose that on America's Independence Day, fireworks aren't too original... these are 12 pictures I took at last year's celebration... #11 is my favorite...

Sky Watch Friday originates at Wigger's World...

Bang. More folks blowing up their money does make a nice post for SWF. Loud too. Wow. I am impressed with your skills at taking these. I never am able to snap the shutter at the right time.

It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.
We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!

Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.

And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!
Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions

I love these artists - and this song is one of my favorites, and has been around for decades... Come back tomorrow morning and I'll have a post with it's history and pictures of the two women who are singing it in this version!
I'm so glad you like it... :)
