Camera Critters

Simple Garter Snake on a country road. Isn't he beautiful? Look beyond his "snake-ness" and just look at his patterns...

Once you get passed the snake and look at the patterns they all are beautiful. Nice picture. Oh and I love that song one of my all time favorites.

I like snakes... I used to have a pet snake... but I know most people don't!!

One of my favorite songs, too!

Hello Anita

Snakes are good, when they are viewed as very very very very far.

The patterns on the snake almost look like a tapestry... very nice photo!

Beautiful photo. An eternity ago when the world and I were still young I dated a guy who had a pet garter snake named Speedy. Speedy seldom moved and would occasionally sit in my lap. The things we do for love.

Oh - I missed your post from last week but enjoyed looking at it today. Beautiful shots. And I enjoyed the song too.

It does have a beautiful pattern and although it is just a little snake, I am glad I am looking a picture and not the real deal!

He really is beautiful! We had some here in the spring when they came out of hibernation and were warming up in the sunshine. I love their patterns too. Wonderful CC photo and post!!

Snakes are beautiful without doubt, but I like to be at a safe distance. I hope I won't encounter one when I am in Australia in 10 days. In Holland we only have adders.

He is very beautiful indeed! You did a great job capturing him and his beautiful markings and colors.
